Workshop & Product Policies & Agreements

TUITION, MEALS, ACCOMMODATIONS & ADMINISTRATION FEE

All listed costs on courses are for tuition only. Meals, accommodations, administration fees and travel to and from events are not included in the course price unless specifically noted in writing by CoreQuest Counselling Group. Payment in full of tuition and meals and/or accommodations and/or administration fees (if applicable) must be received by CoreQuest Counselling Group in strict accordance with the policies outlined herein.  Registrants who have not paid the full course cost by the start of the course date will not be admitted to the course. If the registrant should default on any installment payments, the result may be cancellation for the registered event and the Cancellation Policy will apply.  In the case of cancellation from a course, the Cancellation Policy below applies to the meals, accommodations and administration fee payments as well.

CANCELLATION POLICY

CoreQuest Counselling Group offers high quality, first-class programs.  Each program requires extensive preparation and these preparations are based on the number of registrants.  In addition, our suppliers for site locations, course activities, and supplies charge “per attendee” and require CoreQuest Counselling Group to place non-refundable deposits when a registrant registers for a program. We commit to these services and supplies on your behalf.  For these reasons, our Cancellation Policy offers the following options which apply on a per person basis:

0 to 7 calendar days from the date of registration – full refund.

121 or more calendar days prior to an event – refund less 10% of full course tuition.

61-120 calendar days prior to an event – refund less 30% of full course tuition. 

31-60 calendar days prior to an event – refund less 40% of full course tuition. 

0-30 calendar days prior to an event – no refund available.

All cancellations must be in writing and delivered by postal mail, courier or faxed to CoreQuest Counselling Group. Voicemail or email will not constitute official cancellation notice.  A cancellation notice will be deemed to be the date on which CoreQuest Counselling Group receives written notification by postal mail, courier or fax.  Should the registrant fail to notify CoreQuest Counselling Group in writing of any changes and not attend the workshop, there will be no refund or credit issued.

In the case of an NSF cheque or a declined credit card authorization, an Administration charge of $25.00 will be applied. The registrant will have 7 calendar days to rectify any default on an installment payment plan.  If the course event is within 30 days, the registrant will have 24 hours to rectify the situation; otherwise, all special discounts and bonuses will be forfeited and full tuition will apply to the event.

COURSE TRANSFER POLICY

We recognize that unforeseeable events may stop you from being able to attend the event you are registered for.  For these reasons, our Transfer Policy offers the following options which apply on a per person basis if alternate courses are available:

Up to 121 calendar days prior to an event – transfer at no cost.

120-31 calendar days prior to an event – transfer fee $100 per course. 

30-1 calendar days prior to an event – transfer fee $200 per course. 

24 hours prior to an event - no transfer option.

In the event of a transfer 30 days or less prior to a registered event all meals and accommodation costs if applicable are non-transferable and non-refundable.  Transfer fees are payable at time of transfer request and the date of transfer request will be deemed the date upon which CoreQuest Counselling Group receives the transfer fee.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

I understand that my signature on the front of this form registers me as a participant in a CoreQuest Counselling Group event/course and that I am applying for instruction in an activity which may involve physical, emotional and psychological activity and that in case of such undertaking there is always a risk involved.  I understand that in a group workshop setting the instructor or the staff cannot always monitor my physical, emotional and psychological limits, and that I am therefore fully responsible for assessing the risk any activity may pose to me, and that I may choose a safe course of action for myself. By signing the front of this form I assume the risk and responsibility for any injuries or damages suffered by me arising out of my participation in any CoreQuest Counselling Group event/course. In consideration of the opportunity to participate in CoreQuest Counselling Group events/courses I hereby release, acquit, discharge, indemnify, defend and hold harmless, and waive all my rights to sue or be compensated by CoreQuest Counselling Group, Trevor Warren, or any of the training instructors, staff, students or volunteers taking part in the training in any way.

VOICE, IMAGE, VIDEO RELEASE

I understand that CoreQuest Counselling Group may audio/video record the courses I am enrolled in.  I understand that by my written permission only, my voice and/or image/video may be embodied as part of a product or promotional piece by CoreQuest Counselling Group.  And by that permission I grant CoreQuest Counselling Group the right to use my voice/image/video in its promotional materials and/or products.  I acknowledge and agree that CoreQuest Counselling Group has complete ownership of the promotional materials and products in which my voice/image/video may appear and that I have no interest or ownership in the promotional materials and/or products or their copyright.  This Voice/Image/Video Release is granted to CoreQuest Counselling Group and is perpetual and worldwide.
